Koronadal City- In order to improve the management skills of the supervisors and future supervisors of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) 12, nineteen of DOLE 12 employees attended the 5-day In-House Training on Supervisory Development Course (SDC)-Track I at Fred Ann’s Suite and Resto, this city, on May 20-24, 2019.
The said training course is in partnership with the Civil Service Commission (CSC) 12 which aims to enhance the quality of supervisors and to ensure sustainability efforts directed toward employee empowerment in the government service.
SDC-Track I training featured modules on Personnel Effectiveness, Supervision, and Communication. Evelyn Cortez and Hellie Biruar both Chief Human Resource Specialist of CSC 12 and Resurreccion Pueyo, Director IV, served as resource speakers of the said training course.
In his message, DOLE 12 Regional Director Sisinio Cano emphasized the importance of maximizing resources of the department as conduct of in-house training lessen the expenses of the office. “Take the most of your training because aside from improving your management skills, this will also guide you and prepare you for a higher position as you are our next generation of leaders,” added RD Cano.
The participants also expressed happiness while attending the intensive SDC and very appreciative of the efforts of the management in providing continuing seminars and training for the welfare of the employees.
“Happy gid kay dugang ni sa kaalam namon kag confidence sa sarili,” said Mary Grace Pauya.
