Kidapawan City, Cotabato- A total of two hundred eighty workers from the informal sector in selected municipalities of Cotabato Province will benefit from the DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP) amounting to Php 4,903,525.50.

This after DOLE 12 Regional Director Raymundo Agravante led the turn-over of livelihood checks to the municipalities of Midsayap, M’lang, and Libungan on June 22 and 26, 2020.

RD Agravante together with DOLE-North Cotabato Field Office chief Marjorie Latoja handed over the check amounting to 2,048,601.00 to Midsayap Mayor Romeo Arana on 22 June 2020. This will benefit 121 marginalized workers in the said municipality.

Further RD Agravante and Chief Latoja released the livelihood check amounting to Php 1,436,403.00 to M’lang Mayor Russel Abonado while Libungan Mayor Christopher Cuan received a check amounting to Php 1,418,521.50. The said assistance will benefit 158 beneficiaries from the two municipalities.

With the said releases, qualified beneficiaries are expected to receive livelihood starter kits from their chosen projects.

“Malipay dyud kay dako nga tabang sa pangabuhi namo ang gihatag sa DOLE kay lisod run panahon ka COVID,” said beneficiary Arnel.
