Alabel, Sarangani- No less than the DOLE Assistant Secretary Victor Del Rosario facilitated the release of the DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP) check amounting to P1,387,500.00  for seventy-five (75) beneficiaries from Barangay Local Government Unit-Domolok, this municipality on 17 June 2021.

The said beneficiaries which include former rebels, Indigenous People, workers with insufficient income, and displaced workers were profiled during the conduct of Serbisyo Caravan, a convergence program anchored under Executive Order No. 70 or End Local Communist Armed Conflict signed by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.

Also, those who have completed the skills training conducted by TESDA on 03 March 2021 qualified for the DOLE kabuhayan program.

Subsequently, a ceremonial release of reference numbers for wages were provided to beneficiaries of Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Displaced (TUPAD) Workers Program affected by the pandemic.

“Our dear Secretary Silvestre Bello, III wanted to convey the message with a strong desire and hope that these government assistance would ease the effect of pandemic and eventually help our workers in Alabel restart economic activities through the Department’s livelihood provisions, “said ASec Del Rosario.
