Koronadal City- The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) 12 has already compensated 5156 affected workers for Covid-19 Adjustment Measures Program CAMP in the region amounting to Php 25,780,000.00 as of 22 April 2020.
This after the DOLE has appoved applications of 429 establishments coming from the different establishments or companies in the region.
Private establishments or businesses that have implemented flexible work arrangements or had temporary closed were advised to apply their workers in the department on CAMP. Under the CAMP, affected workers from the private sector due to the impact of COVID-19 could avail a one-time Php 5,000.00 financial assistance from DOLE.
Qualified beneficiaries receive their 5K financial assistance through money remittance centers to avoid influx of workers in DOLE offices. This is pursuant to guidelines set by National Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging and Infectious Diseases on social/physical distancing.
Beneficiaries who claimed their assistance went to social media to express their gratitude to DOLE 12 for fast processing of their claims.
