Koronadal City- A total of 40 employees of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) 12 had attended the 2-day Refresher Course on Internal Quality Audit based on ISO 9001:2015 held at Sheila’s Park and Resto, this city, July 4-5, 2019.
The said training facilitated by Charmaine Ladot of the BMCH Impact Builders focused on the effective internal auditing to ISO 9001:2015. The participants who were existing internal and potential auditors of the department reviewed the principles of management system auditing. Ladot also reminded the participants of the importance of continuing quality management audit system in achieving costumer satisfaction in the delivery of programs and services.
DOLE 12 was a pioneering ISO certified office and first among DOLE Regional Offices to be given such certification on quality management system which dated from October 3, 2011. It has been also recertified by Certification International Philippines, Inc. (CIPI) on October 27, 2017 and will be valid until October 2, 2020.
The training was also in preparation for the upcoming surveillance audit of CIPI this coming September.
“This training is an enhancement of our employees capabilities on quality audit and will actually fast-track and improve the delivery of our programs and services to our clients,” said Regional Director Sisinio Cano.
Quality audit is the process of a systematic examination of quality system carried out by an internal or external quality auditor or audit team.It is an important part of an organization’s quality management system and is a key element in the ISO quality system standard.
