Koronadal City- With the 123rd Araw ng Kalayaan theme, “Diwa ng Kalayaan sa Pagkakaisa at Paghilom ng Bayan,” the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) 12 held the virtual Trabaho Negosyo Kabuhayan (TNK) Job and Business Fairs in this city, 12 June 2021.

As of 4PM, the said online employment facilitation powered by WorkBank generated a total of two thousand five hundred thirty-six (2,536) jobseekers and posted four hundred eighty-seven (487) qualified applicants.

Of the total applicants, sixty-seven (67) were near-hire, seventy-two (72) referred to Technical Skills and Development Authority (TESDA) for sk

ills training, and eighty-three (83) to the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) for business opportunities.

On the same day, DOLE 12 facilitated the conduct of ceremonial release of control numbers of selected establishments and workers who were beneficiaries of COVID-Adjustment Measures Program (CAMP) 2. Beneficiaries can automatically claim the one-time P5,000.00 cash assistance with the partner remittance center of the Department.

“Wala pa ko kapangita sang bag-o nga trabaho halin sang temporary nga nagsara ang establisiemento na akon ginaubrahan, kaya maka happy man kay nabaton na gid namon ang DOLE-CAMP assistance,” said displaced worker Shaira Agustin.

(I’m still jobless since the temporary closure of the establishment that I worked before, I’m really happy knowing that today we received the DOLE-CAMP assistance.)
