Koronadal City- The Regional Tripartite Productivity Board (RTWPB) 12 conducted the 2019 Productivity Olympics Regional Awarding and recognized the 10 best companies with best productivity improvement program. The awarding was held at FB Hotel, this city, 15 May 2019.
It was noted that RTWPB 12 had intensified awareness and commitment to quality and productivity improvement programs of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in order to attract more nominees on the said productivity search. MSMEs from agribusiness, industry, and service sector with excellent productivity improvement program for the last two years and compliant to labor standards were qualified to be nominated on the said productivity search.
This year’s 10 deserving winners are (1) Regina Hatchery Farm (Banga, South Cotabato) for Agri-Business; (2) Galaxus Montessori (Koronadal City), (3) Paraiso Verde Resort (Koronadal City), (4) Southern Philippines Power Corporation (Alabel, Sarangani Province) for Service Sector; (5) BKR Food Products (Polomolok, South Cotabato), (6) RJH Food Products (Gen. Santos City); (7) Centrala Alternative Medicine Producers Cooperative (Surallah, South Cotabato), (8) Kayamanan Ni Juan (Gen. Santos City), (9) Dr. Alfred’s Essentials, Inc. (Kidapawan City), and (10) Arowana Agriventures, Inc. (Polomolok, South Cotabato) for Industry Sector.
The winners received their plaque and cash prizes from Ma. Criselda R. Sy, the Executive Director of National Wages and Porductivity Commission (NWPC), DOLE 12 Regional Director Sisinio Cano, Board Secretary Jessie Delacruz, and the Board Members of RTWPB 12. The winners are automatically the region’s official entries to the 2019 National Porductivity Olympics this October.
In her message, NWPC Exec. Director Ma. Criselda Sy affirms the winners’ commitment in productivity. “The fact that winning in the region, you are already embracing productivity journey and that journey includes a continual improvement of productivity programs in oyur companies,” said ED Sy.
In addition, DOLE 12 Regional Director Sisinio Cano inspired all the winners in the upcoming national search and was equally hopeful for a positive result. “You have been selected out of the several nominees in the region and I hope we will produce a national champion this year,” said RD Cano.
National Productivity Olympics is a biennial event which has the objectives of intensifying national awareness and commitment to quality and productivity and showcasing best productivity improvement programs and gain sharing schemes among companies.
