General Santos City- The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) 12 declared eight (8) Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) which were standout in terms of service quality and had exemplified successful implementation of productivity improvement programs and practices of the management towards its workers and the company during the New Normal edition of this year’s Productivity Olympics at Green Leaf Hotel, this city on 27 July 2021.

With the theme, “Bounce Back Better,” the RTWPB 12  recognized its regional winners and will also qualify as the official representatives of the SOCCSKSARGEN on the 2021 National Productivity Olympics comes October. The deserving MSMEs were Adelaide River Farms, Inc. (Polomolok, South Cotabato), Association of Rural Improvement Club of Kidapawan City, Inc. (Kidapawan City), Centrala Alternative Medicine Producers Cooperative (Surallah, South Cotabato), Don Bosco Multi-Purpose Cooperative (M’lang, Cotabato), Galaxius Montessori, Incorporated (Koronadal City), Regina Hatchery Farm (Banga, South Cotabato), RJH Food Products (General Santos City), and Yaki Herbal Laboratory, Inc. (Kidapawan City).

The Board with its Chairperson DOLE 12 Regional Director Raymundo Agravante commended and benchmarked establishments that demonstrated resilience and surpassed difficulties even during this time of economic crisis brought by COVID-19 pandemic.

“The Department admires the chosen 8 and we hope that you continue to inspire MSMEs in the region to take courage and continue making business, earning profit, and preserving employment without compromising the quality of the services to the customers,” added RD Agravante.

Launched in 2008, the Productivity Olympics organized by the National Wages and Productivity Commission is a national competition of the productivity programs and practices of MSMEs in the agribusiness, service, and industry sectors. End/CDGamboa/RGardose
